Album Info:
From 6:30AM to 5:30PM, me and a carload of fellow New Englanders made a jump over the MassPike and a short hop across the NYS Thruway to the "Mohawk Raceway", CSX's high-speed, high-density Mohawk Subdivision, 2nd leg of the mighty Chicago Line. Between all 5 of us, 25 trains were seen during this timeframe. Due to a badly-timed lunch trip to Wendys, I framed up 24 of them.

Q117-19 FLASHED
Description:
At 7:23AM, the first train flew over the Mohawk double-iron. Westbound intermodal Q117 took the honors, with a HUGE string of Boston vans, as well as an even bigger string of traffic from Springfield and Worcester. About a minute after the power passed by, eastbound River-Liner intermodal Q118 roared by next to it on Track 2.

The K658-18 FINALE
Description:
The last train on film today turned out to be the best one, as "BOMBtrain" K658 motors east, with a BNSF Heritage II dash 9 leading two Norfolk Southern units...I cant decide which unit in the lashup is more rare to CSX RAILS!! The last train of the day, Q262, loaded racks for Selkirk would pass by soon after this, but my autofocus had a bone to pick with the headlights so...I didnt get a photo in focus of that one. Oh well, I didnt care much after THIS train plowed through. (Time 4:46PM)
